Double nappy system: any child who is not FULLY potty trained, is to wear a double nappy which includes swim pants (neoprene or similar with snug fitting bands at the thighs and waist) worn on top of a disposable/reusable swim nappy. Entry to the pool will not be allowed without the required double nappy for hygiene purposes.

Swim caps: swim caps are obligatory during lessons as per pool rules for both adult and child, with the exclusion of Infants (3-6 months) who do not need to wear a cap.

Adult supervision: Each child must be accompanied by one adult before, during and after the lesson while on the premises. The adult accompanying the child in the pool need not necessarily be the same person at each lesson.

Sickness: If the adult or the child is suffering from anything that may be contagious such as covid-19, chickenpox, influenza, hand, foot and mouth disease, chest infection, etc. they are not to attend the swimming lessons until fully recovered. In the event we feel the parent/child is not able to go swimming due to illness, allergy or other appropriate reasons, then we reserve the right to prevent the parent/child from attending a lesson or the course and in such circumstances we are unable to offer any refund. The child and/or accompanying adult are not to attend class if they have an ear, eye, skin or fungal infection until it has completely cleared. Children/adults are not to come to the pool when suffering from diarrhoea and not before 48 hours from the last episode of diarrhoea.

Missed Lessons: We are unable to guarantee replacement lessons for any lessons missed. However if we know beforehand that someone will be absent on a particular day from another class, then their spot can be used as a replacement lesson for someone else. Parents are to let us know beforehand if they know they will be missing a lesson.

Class/Course Cancellation: Giggle'N'Splash reserves the right to alter course dates should this be necessary due to teacher's illness, closure of pool, lockdown or to any other circumstances which require such action. In such cases, sufficient notice will be given and alternative day and time provided. If Giggle'N'Splash is unable to provide an alternative day and time, lesson credit will go towards the next term. If Giggle'N'Splash provides an alternative day and time, the client is unable to opt for lesson credit or refund.

Giggle'N'Splash shall not be held responsible for any cancellations of classes occurring for any reason which is beyond the reasonable control of the School, which significantly and materially affects the School's capability to deliver lessons as planned, and which reason could not have been foreseen or prepared for.

Property:​ Giggle ‘N’ Splash is not responsible for any lost or stolen property. 

Priority Booking: Those already attending a course will have priority over new clients when booking a place for the following term. 

Booking Cancellation:​ We will offer a full refund if a place is cancelled prior to 10 working days from the course starting date. There will be an administration charge of €30 if a confirmed place is cancelled during the period of 10 to 4 working days before the course starting date. There will be no refund if a confirmed place is cancelled 3 working days before the course begins or later.

Liability Waiver: By signing up to Giggle'N'Splash classes, you hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Giggle'N'splash, its teachers, officers, directors, agents and employees against any liability resulting from an injury that may occur to yourself or your child while participating in the lessons. The parent/guardian also agrees to indemnify Giggle'N'Splash for any damage incurred arising from any claims, demand, action or cause by action by the participant. You hereby confirm that you have carefully read the above liability release with full knowledge of its contents and significance.
